It has a nice tone. Not all Vuillaume violins are created equal though: It was HE who invented the concept of kiln-drying to speed up the process, and there's a fair bit of difference between his kiln-dried and naturally dried instruments (in terms of tone AND value). He patterned his violins after Stradivari, and in fact destroyed quite a few original Strads in the process.

I've read every article and watched every video I could find on various carbon fiber violins, and I kept being drawn to the Glasser. I especially like y'all's videos comparing the different brands and models, and I ultimately decided to order the Glasser from your website last night (along with a case and a bow). I look forward to playing it once it arrives. Thanks for all the videos about it. They were even more helpful than our local violin shop that also sells it.

It is sonorous at lower register without the harsh tone of the newly made violins.

How much is it?

Are bows with a full metal frog mount always higher level than bows with a plain frog and no metal mount? Is it correct to assume generally that a bow with a fully metal mounted frog is better than one without metal mounting on the frog?

I find that steel strings are more dynamic, while synthetic or gut strings have more consistency and generally has more depth, which I prefer

C5 enters different dimension; from C1 to C4, they are all good but giving ,or answering quality of the bow according to the same efforts, seems to get more rich and eloquent accordingly as the grade goes up. If you go for this brand, i say you should start with at least C3 if possible C4 and you wouldn't want more for a long time if you are a amateur weekend musician. C5 is a door to something much more, a tool for soloistic expression or tool for letting your hidden passion to be expressed out in the world in relatively affordable price... and please, don't make them monsters from Cyberdyne... I know that compared to wooden bows, Arcus bows are somewhat too celestial: too clean, lacks the vibe and warmth in "some way" ; but they make great clarity, tinge and maneuverability .

I recently changed my old worn Eva Pirazzi set (put on new on the instrument by the seller last year) to new Dominants. I realized I had been spoiled by the Evah Pirazzis. The new G string is so muddy compared to the Eva Pirazzi. I am hoping the new Dominants get broken in over the next month, or at least that my ear gets used to and appreciates the "warmth". It's $$$ to throw these away and buy new Evah Pirazzis. I think this is my instrument has a "dark" sounds and needs the Evah Pirazzi clarity to balance it.

Surprisingly, the Symphony violin stands out as the best even at such affordable price point!

Sounds as great as a Stradivarius violin! Proves that modern violins are as great sounding as antique violins

Nice video, did you manage to get the same afterlength and strings angle at bridge with the two tailpieces ? Can make quite a noticeable difference.

The Soloist violin is the best! Even as great as a Stradivarius or Guarneri, I must say!!

Omg i need the lord wilton no. 2. The finished of paint and varnish looks amazing... Please don't stop to do that kind of work. I don't like the workshop lord wilton 'cause it looks like I'm buying a really antique violin. And even a drunk old man played it and the finish looks like it was played for years and years... And i it's disgusting for me... But that traditional lord wilton no. 2 omg it's just perfect... I wondering which kind of sound can produce that violin with amber warchal.
